‘Vision services for seniors: live well with vision loss’

Founded in 1906, Cleveland Sight Center (CSC) is the only organization in Northeast Ohio that offers comprehensive services for individuals who are blind or have experienced vision loss. From infants to seniors, CSC is a partner to independence, working to educate, empower and employ. CSC serves more than 13,000 people each year through education, direct services and preventative vision screenings.

CSC’s Independent Living program provides services to seniors age 55 and older who have a diagnosed eye condition that is interfering with their ability to remain safe and independent. The intended outcome is for the person to remain independent and safe, function better and live a full or rewarding life in his or her home.

Cleveland Sight Center’s mission is to empower people with vision loss to realize their full potential and to shape the community’s vision of that potential.
