Learn about seniors helping other seniors in Sussex County

As people grow older, their health care needs change. But the need to connect with family and friends remains undiminished.

To help, Sussex County is offering a presentation called “Seniors Helping Seniors:”

Too often as we grow older, relationships are lost as life-long friends and loved ones pass away.

A new health care agency in Sussex County aims to change that by meeting seniors’ health needs, while providing them a source of social interaction.

The Sussex County Advisory Committee on Aging Adults with Physical Disabilities, at its November meeting, will host a presentation by Mary Anne  Bonafair, care coordinator with “Seniors Helping Seniors”.

The meeting will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, November 20, at the Sussex County Administrative Offices West Complex in Georgetown.

Bonafair will provide an overview of the full range of services her agency provides – all delivered by a dedicated staff of empathetic, senior professionals.
