Home Care Provider Opens New Office In Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, CT — A Fairfield native has opened a new ComForCare, an in-home care provider, office in Fairfield to help meet the growing needs for in-home care in the area. Locally owned by active community member and volunteer Neil Anand, ComForCare of Fairfield provides non-medical, in-home care to area residents who are elderly, disabled, living with dementia or recovering from injuries or surgery so they can continue to live independently in their own homes, according to a press release.

Services include senior companionship, personal care, mobility assistance, light housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation, medication reminders, family respite care and more, based on each individual’s needs.

A Fairfield native, Anand plans to draw on his health care and marketing background, along with his experience as a volunteer with a local organization that provides transportation to seniors, to bring high-quality, compassionate care to area residents.

“I’m passionate about serving those in my hometown who are in need of assistance,” Anand said. “Owning a ComForCare office is a way to reach out to even more people and help them have better days in the comfort of their own homes.”

To celebrate the opening, the public is invited to an open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, Dec. 7 at 3 p.m. at 1700 Post Road, Suite E5. First Selectman Mike Tetreau will also be in attendance to cut the ribbon at 3:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
