FVOAS wraps up a year of travel, kicks off 2018

Some of their 2017 travels included trips to Branson and Nashville.Many shows, meals and unique experiences are included in these exciting trips to cities famous for entertainment.

If you are thinking of a shorter trip or a day trip many Fox Valley Older Adult Services travelers enjoyed trips to Shipshewana Flea Market, Utica Wineries, Traveling down Route 66, a Mississippi River Boat trip, The Van Kleinsmid Mansion Tea and Boutique Shopping.

Upcoming events include dinner at the Fireside Restaurant in Sugar Grove and Aurora Christmas Light Tour on Tuesday, Dec. 12.

Also mark your 2018 calendars for Mackinac Island, June 3-9 and Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Smoky Mountains Show Trip October 15-20.

By participating in FVOAS Good Time Travel you also support area seniors in life enriching programs that improve and enrich vital, independent living, to enhance dignity and self-respect, and to encourage participation in community life.

Through active adult activities at the senior center, adult day service and home services, including 24/7 private home services, FVOAS and its partner, Voluntary Action Center (VAC), assist thousands of seniors in DeKalb, Kane, Kendall, and LaSalle counties.
