First Annual Senior Expo

The Senior Expo, presented by Southern Maryland Newspapers and sponsored by Network of Care, the Charleston Senior Community, Regent Healthcare, Travel Leaders Waldorf, and Dr. Mullin’s Hearing Center will open at Middleton Hall on 4045 Renner Road, Waldorf, MD 20602. This event will be held on Wednesday, June 14 from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. The Senior Expo is free and open to the public.

The Senior Expo showcases 25 vendors representing the full gamut of resources including lifestyle, wellness, housing, aging in place, finance, real estate, legal, medical, and many other resources.

“This event is a live extension of The Senior Resource Guide, an annual directory published in coordination with the county offices of aging and Maryland Access Point (MAP) offices,” said Betsy Griffin, Senior Expo Director. “Attendees will have the opportunity to have face time with each vendor to ask personalized questions to the experts featured in the resource guide,” Griffin said.

A robust speaker break out schedule has sessions that include highly relevant topics such as Aging in Place, Estate Liquidation, Healthy Hearing, Poor Circulation, Affordable Housing and Rental Assistance, and Assisted Living.

Complimentary hearing tests, brain games, and a raffle to win a seven-day cruise to Florida and the Bahamas will be available on site.
